Environmental regulation at the local, state and federal level is an ever evolving field. At present, regulation of greenhouse gases (GHG’s), enhancement of energy efficiency and exploration of renewable sources of energy, all within the context of a challenging global economy, are of particular near-term interest to regulators. New regulations regarding energy and climate change policy will likely have wide-ranging impact.
This seminar will provide historical perspective on regulations in these areas, as well as focus on new developments in other regulatory areas including enforcement, site remediation, water initiatives and long term funding strategies.
